I had a few hiccups trying to get this to work well with my Surface Pro - ultimately having to use HDMI for a stable connection, which was not my preference. I also had to try a few different arrangements for power - understandably my Surface Pro couldn't deliver enough, but a desk outlet also wasn't sufficient.However, all that was mostly forgotten when I did get things going, and got the setup I was looking for - a large, attractive display with a simple stand that allows me to position the monitor at an appropriate angle below my main display. The stand gives me a large degree of freedom in positioning it for viewing at an angle - exactly what I was looking for. I can simply look down slightly when I want to look at this monitor, which is extremely convenient.

I have been using this monitor for 90 days and can report that it is great!! It is a large "portable" monitor with a small footprint due to the size of the built in adjustable stand. I'm not sure how or why someone would want to carry around a monitor this large, but I guess technically everything is "portable" if you have the space. It can also be easily hung on the wall. Overall performance is fast and the colors are what you would expect. I upgraded from the 1080P version and the extra money spent is worth it!!

Great clarity, super color, simple connection, terrific compatibility with Windows, Mac/Apple devices and even Android based devices that support external monitors. The stand is adjustable for getting the perfect angle for any user. The 4K resolution is native and looks terrific. It is lightweight and easy to transport. We take this with us in our RV, use it for our tablets, and my wife uses it for remote work on her laptop. It is a great monitor that is very versatile and well built. It performs great and it goes with us everywhere. For work, casual use and even entertainment, this is a great monitor and a super value for the price. 5 stars from us.

I wanted to like this and had hope it would be portable, alas not to be. Also, for the price I expected images to be super sharp and awesome, but they were just normal. The totally off putting feature was the selection of resolutions. There were about 18 or so however each resolution had microscopic unreadable fonts. The aspect ratio of the monitor was more long than vertical that distorted images.

Monitor itself is awesome, but the Seller has in the past provided inconsistent info about whether this model, like other portable USB-C monitors, can operate off a single USB-C cable. My experience: it can't. You NEED two cables: one (either HDMI or USB-C) from the laptop to the monitor, and a second from one of the two USB-C ports to a sufficiently-powerful (45W) wall adapter.A previous version of this product listing indicated that a single USB-C cable was all you needed for full monitor operation...which of course is the appeal of a "portable" USB-powered monitor, even one as large as this: a secondary screen even when on the go. And smaller portable monitors (even 18" 4K displays) can indeed run off a single USB-C cable. It appears as though they've updated this listing to clarify that irrespective of whether you're connecting via HDMI or USB-C, for this 23.8" behemoth **you'll still always need a 45W power source from the Wall**. I think I've gotten away with perhaps just a 30W adapter (in addition to the Thunderbolt connection to the laptop)...but don't quote me on that.Anyway, the monitor itself is awesome, but since I assume that most people are buying it for its portability, know that this model (unlike 18.4" and smaller models) can't run on a single USB-C cable.

Great price for a high quality 23.8K monitor with a 4K resolution.This is perfect as a mobile workstation within my house and for extended remote work elsewhere.Not meant for casual use in cafes, but great in hotel rooms when on conference.I also use it as a second monitor on my desk that can be moved easily.Highly recommended with the right use case.

This monitor is a slim form factor that allows me to travel and store it with minimal problems. The kickstand is sturdy and supports the monitor on any surface. The product seems very well put together.

This is a great monitor and it works exceptionally well with my 24 inch. Because of the angle of the stand you can use it on a desk as a dashboard monitor (lower monitor underneath your main) or just as a monitor connnected to your laptop. Brightness is great, and super portable (but you would need a larger bag to fit it in. Great price and value. Not a roadwarrior monitor but perfect for someone who wants a large resolution, but hasnt got space and doesnt need to travel with it.I also hooked it up to a Nintendo for my kids and they love it (better than them taking over the main family tv).
