Ok I love this little softbox!
Just because it’s small doesn’t mean it doesn’t work well. Lol!Alright so at first, I did struggle to mount this softbox but I found that if I open it up first and try to mount it, you WILL struggle. If you mount it on closed up, it is so much easier to mount! Slides right in and locks so easily. Also unmounting it is easier when you close it up first.I added a photo of it used on a balcony at a beach condo. It’s nice and soft and does spread light nicely. Flash was setup camera right.

Godox LM-S25 Mini Octagonal Softbox Diffuser works but it is a little rickety
I was given the Godox Lux Master flash to use with my steampunk camera for Christmas. The Lux Master flash works great.I decided to get the various accessories for the flash, and I bought the Godox LM-S25 Mini Octagonal Softbox Diffuser for it. I've put it on the flash, but I have not extensively tested how much it softens the shadows yet.My minor issue is the diffuser is made to fold up, and it seems a little rickety when I unfold it and put it on the flash. My sense is maybe it is supposed to click in place, and maybe I'm not getting it to click. So as I'm carrying the flash, it can fold up slightly. I don't think it would affect things being slightly smaller, but it is something I noticed. It packs small, so it is a point in the diffuser's favor. Also if you use a camera with a battery grip (in my case an Olympus E-m1 mark II with HLD-9 battery grip), the diffuser with the Godox standard frame will be too close to the lens and block light to the lens. If I decide to use the diffuser, I would need to use a custom mount to move the flash further away from the camera or mount it taller. Or I could not use the battery grip (which I use for power reasons).I suspect in general, I will use the standard fan fold reflector, since that gives me a more retro camera look (i.e. speed graphic press camera), but I could imagine the diffuser will give softer shadows.
