Decent enough little lunch bag but quite pricey for what it is. Looks darker in colour here then what it is in real life.

My second Black + Blum lunchbag. This one was a present and very well received. It's sturdy and can fit a surprising amount or be rolled down quite small. The insulation is not as thick as a cool bag but plenty enough without making the bag too bulky

This is a handy accessory for the matching lunchboxes that this brand make. Those boxes are made mainly of metal, with a wooden lid that presses in to place. Although pretty tough, the smallest of dents or buckles can result in the lid not fitting properly so it is worth protecting it from scrapes. This bag answers that need pretty well.It’s simple in use in that you just plonk the lunchbox inside, roll the top over a couple of times, and use the buckle to fasten it so it does uncurl. It’s pretty generous size-wise and you can adjust the storage space by altering the number of times you roll it over. With a single roll you could probably get a second box in there if you ever fancy double lunching it.The two main issues I have are the bulk, and the effectiveness of the insulation. With a single lunchbox inside, all those spare rolls combined with the buckle means it takes up more than twice the space in your bag versus the lunchbox alone.As for the insulation, I’ll put my hands up and say I haven’t tested this scientifically with ice packs and thermometers. However, based on the perceived temperature of the contents come lunchtime, it doesn’t appear to be doing an awful lot. Better to just view it as extra padding for the contents.

Great size- and it really is waterproof! Will continue to use regularly.
