Needs better instructions but otherwise amazing
I purchased an earlier model of this flashlight years ago and misplaced it. Having memories that this was a great flashlight brand when I last used one a year or two ago, I ordered two of this newer model with the rechargeable battery. It’s small but mighty. The battery charges via USBC which is perfect for our family with phone and tablet chargers already setup around the house. The only issue is that once I had charged the battery I couldn’t get the light to turn on. I reviewed the included directions and still couldn’t figure it out. I then went and started searching online for videos of people using this model and quickly realized that the “on” button is hidden on the bottom end and the more obvious mode button I had been tapping was not going to turn the light on no matter how many times I tried. Once I pushed the button on the bottom end of the flashlight it turned on and gave off an impressive light display Great lights that I won’t be using very often. Hopefully me and my family can all remember how to turn them on if the power ever goes out at night!

Durable. Great features. Best 2xAA Lamp???
When I "need" to use a flashlight, I want to press a well-defined ON button, and have maximum illumination. I really dislike the "multi-press-to-get-you-what-you-want" flashlights. Yes, I know many of those will revert to your last-used light setting if you hold the power button down. But I am old, and want it ON with one push. This high-quality lamp does that. You press the end-cap button, and it is ON. THEN, if you want to adjust the intensity, a SECOND button - intelligently placed that is naturally under my thumb - allows one to cycle through its four settings. This might be the perfect 2xAA flashlight on the market. The belt clip is weirdly placed: It is in the middle of the lamp, so, if used, half of the lamp is "exposed." But I've never desired to use it. You will not be disappointed with this device.

Great light, easy to pocket, quality battery, and lowest setting is handy.
Really like this flashlight. Perfect size, and I appreciate it coming with a high quality rechargeable battery and the ability to use AAs if need be. I’m surprised that I use the Firefly setting the most, by far. It’s perfect for walking around the house in the middle of the night and seems to use almost no battery life.

Used to be great, less so now
I bought this flashlight back in 2021 (neutral white) and it has been amazing and incredibly useful. So much so that when I needed another flashlight to keep in the car, I immediately bought this one again (same neutral white) without a 2nd thought. However, something has obviously changed in those 4 years with the electronics of this model. With the present version of this flashlight being sold (and as noted in many of the reviews), the high beam can flicker which is incredibly uncomfortable on the eyes. It would seem the only fix is to keep swapping in batteries until you find a set that's fresh enough, at which point the high beam is perfectly stable. With my '2021 model', this flicker has never occurred, no matter how lousy the batteries are that I put in.That said, I don't use the high beam very often as med handles most everything so I'll keep this new one for that reason alone. Apart from that issue, it's STILL a very good flashlight. Just no longer an excellent one so can't give it 5 stars.Side note, also curious as to why the high beam for 'cool white' is rated 500 lumens while the 'neutral white' is 450.

Perfect for finding your way on a dark night under a dark sky
This flashlight is lightweight, narrow and is perfect for finding your way on a dark night. On the other hand, it's not much of a weighted weapon. Decide what's most important to you.

It looks great, very well made. I’ve only had it 2 days so it is hard to tell how it will be in the long run

Bright and Lightweight Flashlight - Gets Warm After Extended Use
This flashlight has great light output and is incredibly lightweight, making it easy to carry around for extended periods. One thing to note is that the bulb end can get quite hot if you run it for a long time, so I wouldn’t recommend keeping it on nonstop for hours. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you need a bright, portable flashlight and just keep an eye on the heat during longer use.
