Used it for years

I've used all the competitors, brands mentioned in the comments before switching to Glossworkz years ago and never went back. You'll never get a better silk glossy finish. I've tried Blacklight radiant finish soap to challenge glossworkz and was immensely disappointed. Glad I only got a 4oz bottle. The Blacklight works but it's more of a deep gloss you'd imagine from a brand new black car off the dealer showroom. There's no "pop" or glow. Just a deeper looking black. Maybe you're after that look. But if you want that silk gloss black you get after using glaze or detailer then stick to Glossworkz. I've also tried Citrus and it's alright, I liked that more on my Red Alfa Romeo. All in all great product. Follow the directions and use room temp water in your foam cannon. Picture above is my 03 Cobra after a cruise 18d after washing (sat in garage no cover). No trickery here.I will say 1 thing. This soap is best appreciated on pleasure vehicles, not daily drivers. Results are good but for a daily driver exposed to the elements id use Citrus wash. Only way around this is if you plan to wash it weekly.

The best I've used so far...

I've tried many car soaps over the past 8 years or so, ranging from the selection at the local Walmart or auto parts store to Chemical Guys, and I can honestly say that Glossworkz is the best I've used so far. I first tried the 16 oz bottle because I was hesitant to spend $45 on a car soap before trying it. Upon my first use of this product, I was satisfied. It produces a nice foam through my foam gun and works equally as well with the two bucket system. I use just a *little* but more than an ounce, maybe an oz and a 1/4, in the foam gun and the same in the bucket. I also drizzle a little bit over the mitts to get them extra lathery and really soapy. After the first wash with Glossoworkz, I actually noticed a drastic difference. It rinsed off the paint really easily, no residue, and literally made the paint look a little glossier. After each wash I spray each panel with Meguiar's D156, a must have (in my opinion), and the paint looks even deeper, wetter, and glossier. I have a strong feeling that Glossworkz really helps fortify the existing paint sealant on my car's paint, which is Meguiar's ULW at the moment. That's the third sealant I've tried as I'm always changing things up and experimenting.I have to give it 5 stars because it really lives up to it's description. My only complaint is that it's a bit overpriced. It's cheaper to choose the Sub & Save option, but even $38 is a little steep. Sometimes you gotta make a little sacrifice in order to get the good stuff, though. I personally notice a big difference with Glossworkz even compared to their Maxi Suds II, which is a decent soap, not on par with GW, though. All in all, after all the rambling, Glossworkz is a great soap for those who are serious about keeping their ride clean and looking great.

The best lubricity of any shampoo I've tried

I had previously reviewed Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo and hailed it the greatest automotive cleaner. That statement still holds true, although Glossworkz by chemical guys is a solid contender. It has a very faint smell to it, which was a bit disheartening, as I and many others love working with pleasant smelling car products. It suds up nicely in a bucket, but upon delivery to car paint, it barely suds at all. It's more of a soapy water that runs off the car, and the cleansing aspect is only good, but not great. I can't comment on the shine, as I (and you should as well) use a quick detailer spray along with a waffle weave drying towel to dry my car. I can say I've tried washing in full sun and in only 65 degree weather the product did NOT live up to its claim of minimizing water spots due to being pH balanced. Just like any other car shampoo, washing in direct sunlight will cause water spots unless you're using pure water. The exception to Glossworkz mediocrity is in perhaps the most important aspect of a soap, thus the high score. That's in its ability to leave the surface you're working on frictionless. It has the highest lubricity of any car wash shampoo I've ever tried. It simply glides over the paint, while something like Gold Class feels thicker and has a rougher time moving over paint surfaces. I feel safe running my wash mitt over a black car with this, a high compliment.

The car I was washing was extremely dirty, and hadn't been washed in several months

I didn't even know about this product a week ago but after hearing about it I decided to try it out. I was using a foam cannon by https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DKC6IY6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_WE9lzbWEEEMVT, and used a gas pressure washer by Simpson. The car I was washing was extremely dirty, and hadn't been washed in several months, sitting in my driveway, and hasn't been detailed in quite a while. This was going to be a huge test! I rinsed the car off with the pressure washer, connected the foam cannon after inserting 2 ounces of this soap and 10 ounces of water. Proceeded to foam the entire vehicle. I then took a soft car wash brush to the vehicle and finally rinsed it off. I then squeegeed the car. I have attached a video and pics for you to see. The only negative was the foam, in my opinion was a tad too runny for what I expected this to have. However after drying off the vehicle I was very impressed on the result. I didn't expect much of a shine due to the age and extreme filthiness and very little care this vehicle has had. This vehicle now actually had somewhat of a shine to it. It also looked very clean. The only part of the vehicle that didn't look too shiny was the hood but that would have been a miracle due to how bad it was on the first place. I don't know about using this as a weekly washer due to the price but on this occasion I was impressed with the outcome.
