Good price for good sprayer
Light weight and works good. I wish the pump was quarter turn to remove tater than having to spin the top off 360 degrees. Would buy again though for the performance and price.

Well made sprayer
I hate cheap sprayers this one is well made. Holds 2 gallons I used mine for basil spraying trees. Easy to clean out and use no leaks in over a year the hose is actually a reinforced poly hose and if plenty flexible in the cold. I know it’s a more expensive sprayer but it’s well made I have no problem paying a little more for something that will last.

Good tank, but weak hose design.
I have purchased 3 of these and the weak link seems to be the hose, it bends too easily at the wand end and eventually will get a kink and leak. Last one I ordered leaks around the top of the tank where it screws into the cap. I have had to grind the plastic and over tighten to stop the leak. I store with the hose hanging from tip so as not to get damaged, but still they fail with use. Will be looking at other brands.

It leaks profusely!
I bought this sprayer because it was a Solo and it had good reviews. When I received the garden sprayer, I put a gallon of water in the tank to give it a test. After a dozen squeezes of the handle, the internal shut off valve started leaking. Since the shut off valve is built into the handle body, it leaked onto my hand. Luckily it was only water in the tank and not chemical.I was disappointed because I really wanted to start using the sprayer that day. But I thought okay, sometimes a defective product can sometimes by missed by quality control, even though there was a sticker on the tank saying the sprayer had been tested and passed.I returned that sprayer in exchange for another exact replacement. I really liked the design of this sprayer.A few days later, the second garden sprayer was delivered. Again, I filled the tank with about a gallon of water to give it a test. With the very first squeeze of the handle, water came spraying with some force, out of the handle where the shut off valve is located. With each squeeze, the valve would leak profusely. Upon closer examination, I noticed the plastic stem of the shut off valve was broken into two pieces. This was the second new sprayer. How does a broken plastic valve get past a quality check. At this point and two sprayers later, I have no confidence in the quality or durability of this garden sprayer. I'm sending it back and looking for another brand that has the quality that Solo once had years ago.

Solo sprayers are high quality
I love Solo sprayers. They are worth the extra money. The sprayer I am replacing leaked Roundup on my hand so I had to wear vinyl gloves. The instructions are on the box in Spanish on one side and English on the other. Amazon placed the shipping label on the English side covering the instructions. I guess they never thought to use one of the sides without instructions. I will need to get my Spanish dictionary out to make sure I don’t miss any safety warnings. 😂

Pro quality sprayer that can take different tips
This sprayer is an upgrade from your budget chemical sprayer as it has fittings/tips that match the professional quality sprayers. I was considering an electric sprayer but the low end ones don't have interchangeable tips and if you're spraying a lawn and want fan pattern to be able to do an even application.Trying to pump while using the shoulder strap was kinda clumsy. But other than that the sprayer met my expectations.

Wand retainer does not hold the wand tightly.
I use the sprayer for low pressure, carefully targeted spraying, usually just dribbling, of exotic invasive plants in a woodland situation. I had an earlier model Solo which worked well for over 25 years. This model works as well for the purposes I use it for; dribbling and spraying. The wand does not stay on the retainer, but drops off at the slightest movement (when I'm carrying the tank). The pump handle does not stay firmly in its "down" position when I'm carrying the sprayer around. The tank tends to drop and this may shorten the life of the assembly. There should be a positive lock of the spray handle in the down position. The strap is useless - with 1.5 gallons of spray, it cuts into my shoulder, but then I didn't order it as a backpack! All these faults could be easily corrected by the manufacturer!
