Aston Martin: The Complete Story

I bought this book as I was looking for a modern and up to date history to date book on Aston Martin. It’s a well researched book with some great images within. I can recommend it if your interested in this great British marque.I would have given it 5 stars but to get the name wrong of the Official Aston Martin historian wrong is something that should have been proof read thoroughly. Given that you are giving credit to someone who’s helped you with valuable research, the least the author could do is make sure you get his name correct…but, hey what do I know?!

The book promised but was marred by many in accuracies. How can a V8 engine have 48 valves? There are many mistakes like this.

In the first 50 pages, I found 50 errors of fact or poor editorial oversight. I then gave up!Contrary to a previous review, I suggest that the author did very little, if any first hand research. NFM
