Permatex 22340 Fast Orange Grease X Mechanic's Laundry Detergent, 40 fl. oz.

My husband is a heavy equipment mechanic. His clothes smell of diesel, hydraulic oil and all kinds of grease. I usually have to wash them 2 or 3 times to mute the smell. Not today, one time is all it took. His jeans smell like oranges! Couldn't believe how little I had to use. My nose is very thankful for this product.

Both my sons work on their cars and come in covered in oil, until I bought this soap it was very difficult for them to get clean and feel clean! This stuff is great! Will definitely recommend and buy again!

Aircraft mechanic. My clothes get dirty with all sorts of oil and grease. This detergent works well when you apply the soap directly on the shirt/pants and give it a scrub before throwing it into the washer.

My husband is a mechanic and gets into everything! His work clothes used to smell so bad—mostly of diesel—that we gave him his own washing machine just to keep them from tainting our regular laundry. I started adding this to his wash, and I couldn't be happier with the results!It immediately cuts through the diesel odor, removes grease, and his clothes come out looking and smelling truly clean every time. Because it’s a bit pricey for the size, I use it more as an additive alongside our regular detergent—but even then, it still works wonders!

Now that I've used up the bottle, I can give an honest review. First let me say that the bottle is much smaller than anticipated for the price. (No, I didn't Google how to convert measurement). How long does it last? Well... As you can imagine, I bought this for my husband's work clothes. My first load of laundry with this detergant was Aug 26. I used 2 cap fulls for a large load. The bottle lasted me 12 weeks, which was equivalent to 12 loads of laundry (24 caps full) without any type of pre-treating stains. The bottle says "up to 40 loads" and I didn't even get half of that. Very disappointed with that part. All in all, it mostly works and I'd use it again, but I will not pay the prices they're asking for mediocre degreaser. It pulls out the grease, but not the smell. PSA:: Heavy soiled laundry will require a 2nd washing. Because of the price, my first load was washed with this and the 2nd with my regular detergent.

Mechanic husband has very hard to clean clothes- until I found this amazing laundry product. Easy to use, high quality, use for any color. Leaves dirty mechanic clothes smelling and looking clean & soft. This is the only detergent we will use- worth the money!

Cleans the oiled up rags and the washer really well. Very impressed with the results and is the best detergent out there!!

I am SO impressed with this stuff!!! I bought it to clean the dirty, greasy, micro fiber towels we use to clean the cars and any other greasy messes. I could not believe my eyes when I opened the wash machine!! I mean, the towels looked brand new!! I would highly suggest buying this! I will be purchasing more for sure!!
