Zoo Med ReptiSand®, 10 Pounds, Desert White

I bought this for our syrian hamster. He likes to rummage and dig around in it. This is much more cost effective than the specifically labeled "hamster bath sand." A good sized bag for about $11 and it will last a good long while depending on the size of your sand area. It's soft but not dusty. It does the job!

I love using this stuff! It doesn't smell or have any harmful stones or sticks that could harm your reptiles. The color is nice and looks like sand you would find on a beach. The fine gain makes it easy to clean! I love this stuff!!

This sand is great for my hamsters! It doesn’t smell, is very soft & lasts long when maintaining it!

My hamster uses sand as his litter box. His paper bedding and burrows are always clean and rarely need changing. The sand is changed frequently. Its so much easier this way. This brand is inexpensive and does a good job.

This is a good quality substrate! I bought it for my female turtle to nest in and sometimes they have to be placed in the area multiple times before they drop eggs. We get her nice and dry before transferring her and have been able to use the same substrate multiple times. And the turtle seems to love digging in it. The smell is mild and clean up is easy.

The media could not be loaded. Our hamster loves this reptile sand. He has a sand bath in his enclosure and another sand bath for his play pen. He only uses the one in his cage for playing, not for going potty. However, he uses the one in his play pen to go pee. It clumps up nice and is easy to remove the clumps. He loves to dig in the sand and I will hands down buy this sand again.
