I love these towels. I've had them for a few years. Guest always gives complement. We mostly use them for decoration. They have been used with the yoga mats a few times. We don't usually use them for bathing purposes but do use them often at beaches.

Soft absorbent & dries without odors. I launder mine a few times before using to get rid of any stray fibers sticking to wet skin. Super comparable to Sand Cloud. Will buy more.

They are thin, dry quickly, and can also be used like a shawl or a blanket in the beach if needed. Rolls up compact. I’m happy with it.

You CANNOT use these right out of the package. They shed horribly and are not absorbent. BUT if you are willing to put in the effort of washing them 6-8 times (don’t wash with anything that you don’t want to get covered in lint!) AND use white vinegar instead of fabric softener each time, THEN AND ONLY THEN they will be great towels.Yes it is a bit of a pain, but it won’t kill you.Yes these type towels take some getting used to. I suggest starting with one or two to get used to the difference. That way if you hate them, there is minimal expenseYes the fringes get frazzled, but that is just part of owning these type towels.Once these have gone through the “breaking in period “, you will love them. They are bigger, thicker, and softer than many other Turkish towels out there (I have tried at least 4 others).I bought these with my own adult money and have not been reimbursed or compensated for this review in any way.

These towels are amazing. So absorbant, quick drying, and good sized.

I use these towels as a light throw to ward off the chill. They can also be used as a decorative throw, or something you take on a picnic or to the beach. They wash and dry easily maintaining color and shape. For the money they are a great buy at half the price of the more expensive brands.

They are big and beautiful but just smear water across my skin instead of absorbing it even after several rounds in the washing machine (without softeners). I will find another use for them - pillow covers perhaps.

These are the most amazing towels once prepared properly... wash in cold water 2-3x to loosen up the fibers before use. If it has cotton, it will shrink a bit in the dryer and it looks like these do.They store in smaller spaces; look nice; are bigger than regular towels; arent bulky on the body; stays up when you tuck it to do makeup, hair & teeth.I love Turkish towels so much!
