Product is good but I will also consider the free installation as part if the product which is by far the worst. I booked a call by calling the godrej care and got a call from mechanic. I took a day off from my work to get the installation done. To my surprise, no one visited. I finally had to get that installed through a local mechanic. Great service by Amazon but a very poor service by Godrej.

I had been using this model for the past 10 years. Then one day it started developing problems in locking. So I decided to replace the lock with the same make and model. It was delivered the very next day. Since, the model was same as my earlier lock, I thought I would be able to fix it in the same slots. However, there is a requirement to cut a steel strip (supplied) to suit the thickness of the door. I didn't have the tools for cutting steel. So, decided to call their Customer care. They were prompt in their response. On the appointed day, the locksmith rang me up in the morning and within an hour he was at my residence. He was very proficient and got the job done in a short time. He informed me that there was nothing seriously wrong with my earlier lock and it could have been fixed if I had contacted their Customer care. Maybe I could have saved some money if I had been aware of it. Overall happy with the whole experience

I bought it six months ago, but did not install it till today. The work was fortunately done free of charge by a Godrej technician. You can get the service by calling Godrej Locks toll-free helpline. After I called them, the technician reached with in 24 hours. I have used these locks in the past, and I hope it will last long without any trouble.

Its an old model lock which i have seen in my grandma's house when I was a kid. But they have updated few things mainly the key which cannot be duplicated and it serves the purpose very well,And godrej never dissapoints you when it comes to trust worthiness.

This is an excellent lock. It does not have auto lock function. But that's what I was looking for.You need to lock it with Key from outside. And you can also lock it (without key) from inside.Anyone with a key can open it from outside. And of course it can be opened without key from inside. This avoids any situations where one could mistakenly lock themselves out without a key. I got this specifically for situations when i am coming late home and dont want to disturb family to open the door. Also if family want to go outside they need not worry when i will be back home. They can lock with their key and I can open with the one with me. It comes with 4 keys. Super.Before purchasing the lock call The Godrej customter support to check if they provide free installation in your area. If yes, their carpenter will come and install it free of cost in a couple of days from delivery. If not - then you can have local carpenter install it for you. Its a very simple lock to install. The local carpenter will know after seeing the lock/(instructions that come with lock) how to install.

Cheaper than local dealer. I got this for ₹1399 during Great Indian festival. Free installation by Godrej was awesome. I called Godrej customer care on the day i received this product and installation was done on next day. The locksmith was highly skilled and finished job in just 15 minutes. And moreover this lock comes with 15 yrs official warranty. Overall very good experience.

I have been using this product for a long time. It is very safe and sturdy. There is no worry of the keys being left inside while the door is closed by mistake from outside. Godrej service was very fast in free installation of the product.
