Wooden Chess Storage Box

This box arrived with the side falling off. It seemed to NOT have been completely glued together like the opposite side. The top did not slide on or off easily, maybe because the side was falling off. Bottom was also falling out, not attached on half of it. Inside bottom the dark wood was splintering off, showing light raw wood. It was terribly put together and I immediately put in for a full return and refund. This box cannot even be considered a box by any standard since it doesn't hold a thing because of shoddiness. Shoe box from your sneakers would be far higher quality. I highly recommend you NOT purchase this.

It is very cheap wood and scuffs easily. I had to use a wood touch up pen to repair it.I added self adhesive felt to the box to add some cushion for the pieces.This works if you’re after an affordable chess storage box.

This is a nice little box. Some reviews are bad but the one I got is just fine. I lined it with some stick on felt and it will do just what I need.

Wish the cover had a stopper so it won't slide out

First one I ordered was fine so I ordered 2 more and the tops were so badly warped they were unusable.

The cover doesn’t fit well with the box. It makes noise when I try to put the cover part on. But the price is quite reasonable.
