Worked well for me

I have several deep cracks in my driveway, some going down to the dirt. This product was able to fill all of the cracks and looks decent enough until I can repave the entire driveway. The filler is fairly thin and starts to dry in the bottle as soon as it's exposed to air, so constant shaking is required. If you've got deeper cracks, the filler will settle into the cracks as it dries and you will most likely need a second, possibly third application. I was able to complete my standard 2 garage driveway with 4 bottles. For some reason, shipping on these takes close to 2 weeks so I would suggest ordering a bit more then you think you need, or else you will have to wait a couple weeks to complete the job (like me).

Driveway Elastomeric Emulsion Crack Filler

Well, aside from being a bit pricey - any higher and would have passed on it's "convenience" - use aspect. However, it performed better than describe and that was 14 November at 60F ambient with the Container Kept near a heat source for a day to make sure was in the area of 70F or so. And, I did periodically shake it - and not more than a fast 120 secs, rolled it to the other side, and kept is Nozzle Down. I had no "consistency' or "gobbing" issues at all.Actually the 1/8" cut would have been fine. I cut maybe 4-5 mm hole and was fine, but had to be more careful in tipping it to pour. However, if doing all 1/4" or more cracks, 5 mm was perfect.Of course, some settling occurred and went back over which was not problem since in about 15 min or so (guessing) turned "black" from it's lighter pour color and was hardening. I think (guessing) I was out there about an hour 1-2 at most and by the time I was done, the "drips" I didn't wipe were hard, like pebbles (not, just a comparison for appearance, feel).I kept a narrow, natural hair brush, ~1/2" and long haired, but a "cheap" spot brush, not stiff and not nylon and just shifted the thicker pours and worked in quickly the rest. It applied as expected, better than actually.I am sure if left it as it, for this winter, I'd maintain - as is my plan, then do a heavy coat re-sealing in the spring. However, I'll level it up as appropriate today -- the next day another 60F +- ambient, no less than 50F and no rain for more than 24hrs anticipated. So, for any less than favorable reviews, I am glad it didn't got like that - and it did not. And, all I did to prep was stiff Broom Swept. Anything more - just would not make a difference in my situation - there was nothing more to do than that. The wind blew and etc. and anthing that messed up my prep, well, no effect really. What I like too was the label instructions says, correctly, the surface can be moist or "wet" just not like standing water and soaked. So, if had a more warm day, if one was to give it a good hosing if needed it - you'd be good to go an hour or so later - correct?!, well, I would and comment it if helps anyone wondering. In my area, there's always going to be some - no bone dry conditions and don't think that level of dry is actually better for this in terms of binding with the surface and below it. So, meaning any bit's of dirt that may be there, it bound to and stuck it hard to the surface (made sure to get that cleaned up prior to *hardening" hard).I hope that helps someone!

Works well on old Driveway

My Driveway is over 20 years old. I used this product several times and it hasn't let me down. Best to turn bottles over night or shake Very well. I needed two jugs so I I just mixed the two jugs in a 5 gallon bucket and used a paint mixer on my drill. Deep cracks you can use a backer rod. I just poured it in the cracks to the top and let it self level. Two years ago I purchased a whole driveway resurface sealer after letting the cracks dry and cure. Driveway look amazing. Last year I just used a Cheaper Driveway sealer to refresh the look but before that I used this stuff again to fill in New cracks. I live in Western New York so Salt and snow takes a toll on asphalt. This year just one jug is all I need for small spider cracks. I didn't even need the whole jug so I gave the rest to a neighbor . Settling of product is normal so don't let the chunks turn you away from a excellent product. I rather pay $26 than have a new Driveway put down when my current Driveway is hold up very well. Wear gloves lol! Stuff sticks to skin and shoes pretty good

This stuff doesn't set

I made the mistake of buying this twice. First time, it unexpectedly rained the same day, so I was forgiving. Second time, even with no rain for a week and lots of sun with 80+ temps, this stuff still hadn't set. First rain, and it's a disaster.

So far so Good

Just used this to fill in some spider web cracks in our driveway. It's interesting how it starts out as a disgusting brown and then becomes a glossy black. I guess I will have to apply a second coat since it appears that the first coat shrunk as it dried and did not fill in the cracks level to the surface. I'll try to update my review after the second coat dries. One week later: I have noticed that a lot of the small cracks are not level with the surrounding asphalt. Seems as if the product shrank and dried below the surface. I just applied a second coat, and it appears that it is still below the surface. I would hate to think that I may have to put a third coat on because… I don’t have enough left, don’t feel like buying another gallon, and I don’t want to spend more time on this project. I am somewhat disappointed.

Bonds big crack without cracking

I bought and used 13 gallons. At first I was a bit disappointed because it sinks in the hole a lot. That was until I tried the box store brand (airport rated) on the rest of my cracks. Henrys even though it sinks in the hole and requires multiple coats never cracked even in my really big cracks. The box store junk cracked in cracks half the size of the Henrys. Henrys was worth the extra pennies.
